ST. ANSGAR

Founded in 1853 by Rev. Claus L. Clausen, St. Ansgar has been named the "Garden Spot of Iowa" due to its thriving farmland and stately trees.

Nearly 1,100 residents live within the boundaries of St. Ansgar. The St. Ansgar School district meets the educational needs of the youth in the community.

St. Ansgar has several parks nearby including Halvorson Park, Acorn Park Golf Course and Sportsman's Park.
