 There are 15 golf courses in and around Mitchell County. There is virtually no waiting time for tee-off and reservations are not needed for tee times.  

Sunny Brae Golf Course

Sunny Brae Golf Course is located south of Osage as a private, 18 hole course.  Residents within the Osage school district need to become members in order to play the course.  Sunny Brae has two classes of memberships, voting and non-voting.   A Single Class A voting membership costs $328 a year, while a Family Class A voting membership is $480.  A non-voting, Single Class B membership is $344, while the non-voting, Family Class B membership is $450.  

Green fees for non-resident players are nine holes for $12 a day or $18.00 for 18 holes of play.  

Ladies Day is Wednesday and Men’s Day is Thursdays. These are members only days.

 

Acorn Park Golf Course

Acorn Park Golf Course is a city owned, public nine hole course.  

A single early bird (before 1 April) membership will cost $265 and a family yearly membership will run $375.  

Green fees are $15 for all day on weekdays and $18 for all day on weekends.  

Acorn Park offers a friends discount for friends of members, which substantially lowers green fees.  

 

 

                                                               Riceville Country Club

 The Riceville Country Club is a public, nine hole golf course located in the city Riceville.

A single membership at Riceville cost $422.65; a yearly family membership is $476.15

Green fees are $10 on weekdays and $14 on weekends.  Thursday nights are Men’s Night with the course open to all until noon and Tuesday Nights are Ladies Day with the course open to all until 3:00 p.m.
